Commercial Surveys

Our Commercial Building Surveys help you understand the pros and cons of the property, aligned to budget costs for significant items, putting you in an informed position to negotiate the purchase price or the terms of your new lease.

We don’t believe in wasting our client’s money, so if we think you shouldn’t proceed or there are major issues, we’ll let you know straight away and ‘stop the clock’. Why would you want to pay the full fee for us to write up a survey which tells you not to proceed? That’s not the way we do business.

Our team of Chartered Building Surveyors have years of experience, technical know-how and, most importantly, commercial nous behind them. They are on hand throughout the process to give you support in making the right, informed decision.

Our Services

Commercial Condition Surveys

We carry out detailed condition surveys, often required when planning to convert/alter a commercial building. A condition survey is often undertaken in conjunction with a full measured survey.

Commercial Measured Surveys

We can undertake detailed measured surveys and produce computer generated drawings (CAD) for record purposes or as a basis for proposed alteration/works.

Landlord and Tenant Matters

We have experience in dealing with disputes between landlords and tenants as to the state of repair of leasehold premises, referred to as “Dilapidation” and also specific expertise in Lease enfranchisement/extension work and are able to negotiate on behalf of both landlords, tenants and leaseholds.

Insurance Repairs – Fire, Flood, Storm and Subsidence

We undertake complete damage reinstatement in an efficient and sensitive manner to ensure that you are able to return to your fully reinstated building as quickly as possible. We can offer advice on future flood/damage protection methods and loss mitigation.

Schedules of Condition

If you are taking a lease or agreeing to repair and reinstate a property you need to record the building at the start of the lease/works or you could be faced with substantial dilapidation claim/bill at the end of the term. It is therefore vital to record the condition prior to legal commitment
